The upcoming Convention of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters is an important moment that will help shape the future direction of our union. The delegates elected from Teamsters Local 542 will play a role in discussions and decisions that impact contracts, organizing efforts, and the long-term strength of our membership. You will receive your Official Ballot with Ballot Envelopes for the 2026 International Brotherhood of Teamsters Convention. The Ballot Count Process will take place on Wednesday, April 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Teamsters Local 542 Union Hall at 4666 Mission Gorge Pl., San Diego, CA 92120. UniLect Election Services will leave from the Union Hall for the Post Office at 9:55 a.m.
- If you do not receive a ballot by March 31, 2026, or make a mistake in marking your ballot, call UniLect Election Services Ballot Request Call Center toll free at 1 (866) 466-6455 as soon as possible to request a duplicate ballot. When calling, you must have your Teamsters Member ID Number or the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number available to confirm member identity. English and Spanish speaking operators are standing by. The deadline to request a duplicate ballot is Midnight on Monday, April 6, 2026.

How to Vote
- Fill in the bubble next to Teamsters 542 Unity Slate (right side — the right choice!).
- Use a blue or black pen and completely fill in the oval.
- Seal your envelope and return it the same day you receive it.
Postage is paid. Drop it in any mailbox immediately — every vote matters.
